Obtaining of small-ashes carbons on the base of peat. pp. 12--14

Summary: The a new method of obtaining of small-ashes carbons on a base of peat containing various quantity of mineral components has been elaborated. The essence of the method is in thermo-treatment of peat at 250 °C, acid activation (1 -- 2 hours) and the next activation of raw carbon at a temperature 850 °C during 1 hour at a presence 30% K2СО3. The method permits to obtain simultaneously active carbons and mineral adsorbents don t gave in their structural characteristics and activity to analogous pore materials obtained on a base of co-precipitated hydroxides.

Colloidal-chemical properties of polyelectrolyte poly-N,N-dimethyl-N,N-diallylammonium chloride-sodium lignosulphonate complex. pp. 19--23

Summary: The investigations of interpolimeric reaction of the polyelectrolyte complex formation between with taking part of homopolimer poly-N,N-dimethyl-N,N-diallylammonium chloride and heterogenic polyelectrolyte sodium lignosulphonate have carried out. Colloidal-chemical, ion-exchange and some other properties PEC are considered. It is shown, that the polycomplex may be used at sewage treatment from ions of heavy metals.

Model of initial stage of structure formation in SHS process. pp. 24--28

Summary: The mathematical model of initial stage of structure formation in SHS process is build. The model equations discribe the distribution function of the granes of the reaction product in the space of the linear size. It is shown within the framework of the model that qualitative particulaties of the distribution function are defined in the domain of embryos size of the granes.

Composition of diamond pastes and their physical-mechanical properties. pp. 29--32

Summary: Influence of surface-active substances (SAS) on physical-mechanical qualities of diamond pastes was investigated. It was shown that the most effective dispergators and stabilizers are non-ionic SAS which fall under the class of fatty alcohol oxeth-ylates and lubricant-non-ionic SAS which fall under the class of complex polyether of fatty acids and polyvalent alcohols. Combination of chosen on the basis experimental data SAS of various actions helps to get diamond pastes which are characterized by even distribution of particles in volume, high stability with high abrasive and polishing qualities.

Application of barium hydroxide for titration of cationites. pp. 33--36

Summary: It is shown on example Ba(OH)2, KOH and NaOH, that application of the bases with double-charged cationes instead of single-charged results in more precise excesses PT Cuvres in a point of equivalence. It is established, that the error of definition of ion exchanger capacity from PT Cuvres at titration by hydroxide barium is on the order lower, than at titration by hydroxide potassion.

Peculiarities of the formation of In2O3 -- Bi2O3 structure by sol-gel method and property of semiconductor gas sensors on its base. pp. 37--41

Summary: Peculiarities of the formation of In2О3 -- Bi2O3 mixed oxides obtained by the sol-gel method have been investigated. Properties of one-electrode semiconductor gas sensors on the basis In2О3 -- Bi2O3 have been studied.

Methods of concentration of aqueous media during determination of heavy metals contents. pp. 42--44

Summary: The comparison of preconcentration of the heavy metal ions frequently used in the analysis of aqueous media (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Ni, Mn) was performed. Fibrous chelating sorbent FIBAN X-1 provides the highest degree of preconcentration of microquantities of the heavy metals from potable water. A high efficiency of sorption with application of fibrous chelating sorbent FIBAN X-1 in comparison with extraction and evaporation has been proved.

Summary: The corresponding esters were synthesized by the interaction of 2,3,3-trichloro-2-propenoic, 3,4,4-trichloro-2- and -3-butenoic, 3,4,4,4-tetrachloro-2-butenoic and 2,3,4,4-tetrachloro-3-butenoic acids chlorides with long chaining and functional substituted natural alcohols.

The convenient synthesis of 5-amino-1-aryltetrazoles. pp. 50--53

Summary: A simple three-step synthesis of 5-amino-1-aryltetrazoles from the corresponding 1-arylamines through 1 -aryltetrazole and N-arylcyanoamide intermediates was developed. On the example of six aromatic amines it was shown that the method has sufficiently versatile character.

N-Chloroacyl derivatives of leucin and b-phenylalanine esters. pp. 54--56

Summary: The N-acyl derivatives RCH(COOR1)NHCOR2 [R = (CH3)2CHCH2, PhCH2; R1 = CH<>3<>, CH3CH2; R2 = CCl2 = CCl-CH2-, CCl3-CCl = CH-, CCl3CCl2-CH2-, C3Cl2NS], were obtained by the interaction of methyl- and ethyl esters of leucine and b-phenylalanine with chlorides of 3,4,4-trichlorobut-3-enoic, 3,4,4,4-tetrachlorobut-2-enoic, 3,3,4,4,4-pentachlorobutanoic, 4,5-dichloroisothiazol-3-carboxylic acids in the presence of triethylamine. The structures of the compounds obtained were confirmed on the base of IR, NMR 1H spectra and elementary analysis.

Influence of temperature, concentration of catalase and antioxidants on high frequency ultrasound inactivation of ferment in solution. pp. 57--63

Summary: The catalase (CAT) inactivation has been studied at its concentration 0.4 -- 1.0 nM in 7.5 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.4, sonicaited by high frequency (HF) ultrasound (US) (2.64 MHz, 1.0 W/cm2) at 42 -- 50 °C. Inactivation was characterized by effective first order rate constants in sec-1: kin -- total inactivation, kin* -- thermoinactivation, kin(us) -- US-inactivation. As a rule, kin and kin* decreased with the CAT concentration increasing and kin(us) is changed by complicated manner at |CAT|0 variation. The temperature dependence of kin is described by Arrhenius equation only at |CAT|0 equaled to 0.4 and 0.55 nM or higher as 1.0 nM. Antioxidants poly(2-aminodisulfide-4-nitrophenol) (poly(ADSNP)) and poly(gallic acid disulfide) significantly increased kin and kin*, but decreased kin(us) in the medium with pH 7.4. The most effective stabiliser of CAT was covalent conjugate poly(ADSNP)-dextrane, containing 0.3 and 1.0 µM of components. Complex [poly(ADSNP: dextrane] most effectively depressed US-inactivation of catalase.

Modified microfiltration membranes for the bacteriological analysis of water. pp. 64--67

Summary: The water permeability and fouling of the microfiltration membrane; based on cellulose ethers and aliphatic polyamide has been studied. The flux reduction of the polyamide membrane were found to be much more pronounced than the flux variation of cellulose membranes. To prevent the membrane fouling polyamide membrane were modified using dilute aqueous solutions of glytaraldehyde, dextrane and polyvinylpyrrolidone with different molecular masses. It was shown that surface modification of polyamide membrane by low molecular mass polyvinylpyrrolidone and glytaraldehyde decreases the membrane fouling.

Summary: The modification of the polyamide ultrafiltration membranes by selectively oxidized polysaccharides has been investigated. The transport characteristics and hydrophilicity of the obtained membranes as function of modification conditions and of initial membrane properties have been studied. The resistance of modified membranes to action of acid and alkaline solutions has been investigated.

Summary: The influence of acids and alcohols as modifier on rheological properties of liquid glass has been investigated by rheological methods. The correlation between molecular structure of active additives and viscosity of binary systems has been revealed. It has been found that aggregative stability of modified liquid glass is directly related to the coefficient of dynamical viscosity.

Summary: The hydrodynamica! resistance of fibrous ion-exchanger "FIBAN K-4" filter layers has been studied. The influence of the layer thickness and package density of the material on hydrodinamics of the filtration process has been measured. A mathematical equation connecting the technological parameters of the filter layer with the liquid flow rate and the material swelling has been derived. Recommendations concerning practical using of the ion-exchanger have been given.
