A space vehicle made in Belarus and analogous Russian satellite “Kanopus-B” No. 1 currently from a combined orbital group. The NAS of Belarus and Roscosmos agreed to expand it capabilities by means of resources of other Russian satellites of “Kanopus-B” and Kanopus-B-IK” series. Now, the orbital group will comprise seven space vehicles. “Thanks to combining of these satellites into a single group, we will obtain information not every 16-17 days, but practically in an online mode”, said Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the Presidium of NAS of Belarus. He also noted that the information exchange will be carried out on a non-reimbursable parity basis: Russia will use the data from the Belarusian space vehicle, and Belarus - from the Russian satellites.
