Master's Degree Students and Graduates Of Graduate School Of NASB Participate in XXVI Republican Competition of Students’ Scientific Papers

Master’s degree students and graduates of the State Educational Institution the Graduate School of the NAS of Belarus took part in the XXVI Republican Competition of Students’ Scientific Papers held by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The best papers in various fields of science were selected for the competition: in archeology, physics, applied mathematics, social science.

According to the competition results, 5 scientific papers of the master’s degree students and graduates were highly praised and assigned the following categories:

Category 1

1) Alexander Gorshkov, topic: “Silicon items from settlement Kavalcy-2, Hrodna District, Hrodna Region”, the research advisor: Maxim Chernyavsky, the Chief of the Neolitic and Bronze Age Sector of the Department of Archeology and Primitive Society of the State Educational Institution Institute of History of the NAS of Belarus, the Candidate of Historical Sciences.
2) Vladimir Shcherbina, topic: “Algebraicity of lattice of partially total composition formations of finite groups”, the research advisor: Vasily Safonov, the Pro-rector for Research of the Belarusian State University, Doctor of Physical and Mathematic Sciences, Professor.
3) Agata Petrovskaya, topic: “Physico-mechanical and thromboresistant properties of tantalum nanostructured films and tantalum compounds”, the research advisor: Tatiana Kuznetsova, the Deputy Chief of Nano Process and Technology Laboratory of the State Educational Institution Heat and Mass Transfer Institute n.a. A. Lykov of the NASB, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Category 2

Telman Masliukov, topic: “Assessment of localization of Lauryshava Monastery according to archeological data”, the research advisor: Sergey Vitsiaz, the Deputy Director for Science and Innovations of the State Educational Institution Centre of Studies of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the NASB, Doctor of Historical Sciences.

Category 3

Regina Chaykovskaya, topic: “Settlements consisting of ancestral estates: pilot study”, the research advisor: Ekaterina Alekseeva, the Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the State Educational Institution Graduate School of the NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor.
