Members of the Veteran’s Club of the diplomatic service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus visited the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The guests were acquainted with the exposition of the Museum of History of the NAS of Belarus, the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus "Domestic scientific achievements for manufacturers", and held talks with the First Deputy Chairman of the NASB Presidium Sergei Chizhik. They discussed the development of international scientific and technical cooperation (including the development of space research and the creation of a supercomputer in the Republic of Belarus).
The Veteran’s Club of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was created in continuation of the concept of the Center of the History of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and makes it possible to involve active veterans of the diplomatic service to work on the development of the Center and its exposition and to conduct thematic meetings with young diplomats, students and researchers. People with extensive experience in working abroad, promoting domestic interests, including partners in the scientific field are members of the Club.
