The meeting is to review the implementation of the Activities Plan on performing the Agreement on Cooperation in the Antarctic between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation in 2016-2017, to discuss plans for scientific and logistical cooperation for 2017-2018, including those within the framework of the 10th Belarussian and the 63rd Russian Antarctic Expeditions.
The event will be attended by Valery V. Lukin, Head of the Russian Antarctic Expedition of the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, Roshydromet; Vyacheslav L. Martyanov, Head of the Russian Antarctic Expedition logistics center; participants of the Belarusian Antarctic expeditions, representatives of the Republican Center for Polar Research, and the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
