2nd European Biotechnological School to take place in Minsk on 27–31 May

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences in cooperation with European Biotechnology Association hold the 2nd European Biotechnological School in Minsk on 27-31 May.

The event is aimed at giving young scientists valuable skills and networks to develop their professional career, involving researchers in addressing urgent issues in biotechnology.

The forum includes lectures by leading scientists from the European Union (UK, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Turkey, etc.), Russia and Belarus. The working language of the forum is English. Members of the European Biotechnology Association (European Biotechnology Thematic Network Association - EBTNA) and the President of the EBTNA Board Professor Munis Dundar will tell fledgling Belarusian scientists about the latest in biotechnology. There will be discussions, roundtable sessions, and visits to the research facilities of the NAS of Belarus.

Young scientists will have the opportunity to learn the latest information about the latest achievements of fundamental and applied biotechnology, advanced research and development, as well as to present their research projects to colleagues and international experts in the format of a poster session. It is planned that the II European biotechnology school will be attended by more than 100 people (lecturers and students), pre-selected and actively working in the field of biotechnology. Young scientists will be able to learn more about cutting-edge solutions in fundamental and applied biotechnology and present to international experts their research projects during a poster session. It is expected over 100 people (lecturers and audience members) are taking part in the 2nd European Biotechnological School. The 1st European Biotechnological School took place in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on 30 May – 4 June 2016.
