Synthesis of G-reducible linear time-variable systems.
Summary: Let x· = A(t)x + b(t)u be a time-variable linear system. We consider the problem for determination of the feedback control u = f(t)x such that the closed system x· = (A(t) + b(t) f(t)) x may be reducible using some group G of the linear transformations. The necessary conditions for G-reducibility are established.

Synthesis of optimal policy for neoclassical economic growth model. pp. 17--21
Summary: The neoclassical economic growth model using external loan is under consideration. The problem is to construct the consumption and investment policy providing maximum to the sum of the discounted terminal equity and the amount of the discounted consumption over a finite horizon. On the base of the sufficient optimality condition, the synthesis of the optimal policy is given.
Gaschutz products of group classes. pp. 22--26
Restrictions of modular irreducible representations of the special linear group with highest weights large enough with respect to the characteristic to small natural subgroups are not completely reducible. pp. 27--31
Summary: Restrictions of irreducible representations of the special linear group SLr+1(K) over an algebraically closed field K of characteristic p > 0 to naturally embedded subgroups of small ranks are considered. It is proved that if j is an irreducible representation of this group with highest weight åri=1aiwi, all ai < p and åri=1 ³ 2p -1, then the restriction of j to a naturally embedded subgroup of type A and rank n cannot be completely reducible provided n £ r/2. A conjecture that a similar result holds if åri-1ai ³ p is formulated. Recent results of J. Brundan, A. S. Kleshchev and the author imply that for r large enough there exist irreducible representations j with all ai < p and åri=1ai, arbitrarily large with respect to p whose restrictions to SLr(K) are completely reducible.

Summary: Phonon spectra, specific thermal capacity and characteristic Debye temperatures are calculated for crystals of gold, copper, nickel in harmonic Borne approximation with variation of elastic constants.

Laser pulse control using non-linear total internal reflection. pp. 37--42
Summary: The device based on phenomenon of nonlinear total internal reflection is offered. It allows spatially to divide the synchronous on time pulses of the basic frequency and second harmonic of Nd-laser and to change a direction of the second harmonic beam. Results of calculation of the selection efficiency of both pulses are presented using the proposed nonlinear element.

Uniform suitability of operator method to solve Schroedinger equation in multioptional systems. pp. 43--47
Summary: The eigenvalues and eigenfunctions for the system of two coupled oscillators are found on the basis of the operator method. It is shown that the method permits one to find the uniformly suitable approximation to the problem in contrast to Hartree and adiabatic approximations.
Dynamics of molecular rotational echo. pp. 48--53
Summary: The rotational dynamics of rigid asymmetric top is considered as a basis of synchronization of rotational modes to form molecular quantum rotational echo. Temporal delay of "K-type" echo is presented as a simple function of rotational constants. It is shown that the prolate top echo is due to the dipole transition moment along b or c-axes and oblate top echo along a or b axes.

Oxidation of hydrogen sulfide on fibrous anionite FIBAN A-1 with fixed Fe-EDTA complexes.
Summary: Oxidation of hydrogen sulfide by oxygen at 16-30 °C in presence of fibrous strong-base FIBAN A-1 anionite with fixed Fe-EDTA complexes has been studied. It was found that H2S conversion rises with decrease of temperature, increase in anionite humidity and complex content. A catalyst samle prepared on the basis of Cl-form of anionite displays higher activity. Elevated oxygen content in the initial gas mixture results in considerable increase of catalyst efficiency.

Electrodeposition of metal adatoms on tellurium and tellurides. pp. 58--63
Summary: Electrodeposition of metal adatom layers on tellurium and tellurides (PbTe, CdTe, ZnTe) by cyclic voltammetry (CVA) has been investigated. Underpotential deposition of metal adatoms such as Pb, Bi, Cd, Sn, In, Cu and Zn is irreversible process characterized by presence of one adsorption -- desorption peak on CVA curve.

Summary: Synthesis of bicyclo /2,2,2/-oct-7-ene-2,3,5,6-tetracarboxylic dianhydride has been described. Thermic characteristics of the obtained polyimides have been studied by DSC method.

Some aspects relating to adaptation of internal carotid artery to blood supply of brain.
Summary: The findings on embryogenesis of human internal carotis artery have been presented. Its uterine development up to 10 weeks has been traced. The emphasis was put on terminal cerebral part of the artery significantly dilatating on its way to brain. This may be regarded as arterial adaptation to blood supply function favouring more intense blood flow in recipient brain.

Structural-functional state of lymphocyte membranes from peripheral blood of patients suffering from systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. pp. 72--76
Summary: Structural-functional state of membrane proteins in peripheral blood lymphocytes was studied by millisecond room-temperature tryptophan phosphorescence (RTTP) method in 43 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and in 48 healthy people. A significant fall in lifetimes of the fast and slow RTTP components of patient lymphocytes was revealed. It provides evidence of reduced rigidity in the microenvironment of membrane proteins chromophors leading to enhanced intramolecular dynamics. Pronounced structural shifts in lymphocyte membranes correlated with clinical and immunological manifestations of both pathologies. RTTP parameters are qualitatively new indices of membrane state in immunocompetent cells contributing to the general membrane protein pattern rather than individual receptors and complementing tests characterizing immunopathological process in case of SLE and RA.

Protective action of prostaglandin heteroanalogs on gastric mucous membrane and HeLa cells. pp. 77--81
Summary: From 9 synthetic prostaglandine analogues, containing either N or S atom or isoxazole fragment in side chains, only 13-aza-10-oxa analogue displayed the specific cytogastroprotective effect in C3H mice, received indomethacin (60 mg/kg, subcutaneously) and ethanol (60%, 0.1 ml/mouse into stomach). At the same time 7 studied compounds caused the cytoprotective action on model of ethanolic stomach ulcers in Wistar rats. All of above mentioned analogues, including 2 inactive compounds in experiments on rats, displayed pronounced statistically significant radioprotective effect on HeLa cells, exposed to g-irradiation at dose 2.0 Gy. Consequently, prostaglandine heteroanalogues possess sufficiently universal nonspecific cytoprotective activity, but only individual representatives of them are able to display the specific PG-like cytoprotective effect.
Non-linear dynamics of immunogenic tumor growth. pp. 82--86
Summary: The time delayed cytotoxic T-lymphocyte response to the tumor growth has been analysed on the basis of discrete approximation (2-dimensional map). The growth kinetics has been described by logistic law with growth rate being the bifurcation parameter. Increase in the growth rate results in instability of the tumor state and causes period-doubling bifurcations in the immunity + tumor system. For large values of tumor growth rate a strange attractor has been observed. The model predicts the metastable state when time series data of the immune and tumor cells are chaotic and confusing which may be caused not by external (medical) factors but rather by internal substrate competition.
Utilization of phthalate esters by rhodococci. pp. 87--90
Summary: Efficiency of the process of utilization of phthalate esters depending on ester structure tends to fall with increase in number of carbon atoms in side alkyl chain as correlated with reduction of phthalate ester water solubility. Utilization of phthalate esters may include transformation of these compounds by extracellular enzymes to form water-soluble intermediates or their solubilization by biosurfactants.

Detection of indolyl-3-acetamide pathway of auxin biosynthesis in phytopathogenic and saprophytic bacterial strains affiliated to different taxonomic groups. pp. 91--95
Summary: 15 strains belonging to genera Pseudomonas, Xanthomonas, Erwinia, Rhizobium and Corynebacterium were analysed for their ability to synthesize indolyl-3-acetic aced (IAA) involving tryptophane-2-monooxygenase and indolyl-3-acetamide hydrolase. As a result of DNA-DNA hybridization and polymerase chain reaction, iaaM gene encoding tryptophane-2-monooxygenase was revealed in 11 tested strains, with 9 attributed to phytopathogens. Activity of iaaH gene controlling further transformation of indolyl-3-acetamide into IAA was demonstrated by thinlayer chromatography method. The IAA biosynthesis pathway via indolyl-3-acetamide was supposed to be typical primarily for phytopathogenic bacteria.

Glucocorticoid function of adrenals and binding capacity of transcortin in rats with different duration of ethanol-induced sleep. pp. 96--100
Summary: The functional state of adrenal system was studied using animals with different durations of ethanol-induced sleep following ethanol treatment (1 or 10 times, i. p., 3.5 g/kg). Adrenal glands of non-sleeping rats responded to ethanol injection more pronouncedly, than those of long-sleeping rats. It was suggested by significantly higher corticosterone level, as well as sufficient rise of adrenal glands weight (1.5-fold) observed in non-sleeping and long-sleeping rats after 10-fold injections of ethanol being expressed more strongly in non-sleeping rats. The results obtained suggest, that non-sleeping animals can characterized by higher sensitivity and reactivity of pituitary -- adrenal system after ethanol intake.

The levels of 137Cs, 90Sr, 239,240Pu and 241Am in soil solutions as a criterion of radionuclide mobility. pp. 109--116
Summary: The results of the investigation of 137Cs, 90Sr, 239, 240Pu and 241Am distribution between solid and liquid phases of different types of soils contaminated as a result of Chernobyl catastrophe are presented. It was shown the content of radionuclides in the pore moisture and its change along the soil profiles are in accordance with content and distribution of radionuclide mobile forms in the soils. It was revealed that the level of radioactive contamination and water capacity of soil. the content of potassium, calcium and mobile humic components in the soil solution are the most important characteristics governing supply of radionuclides into the pore moisture. It was established that the distribution coefficients of radionuclides can be used as criterions of their mobility at the territories with different soil cover irrespective of the levels of radioactive contamination.
