The particularities of direct phase transformation of pyrolytic boron nitride into cubic modification and investigation of its properties. pp. 8--13
Summary: The phase transformation of high-clean and high-disperse pyrolytic boron nitride, containing rhombohedral and graphite-like structures, into cubic modification at high static pressure is considered. It was found that the obtained boron nitride has texture which decreases with the synthesis temperature increase. The comparative investigations of cubic boron nitride BNkp and other high-hardness materials microhardness and fracture toughness are fulfilled. So Knupp microhardness of BNkp at 4.9 N load is 55.1 GPa, what is over other known polycrystals microhardness (HK = 33.2--21.8 GPa). Due to high hardness the fracture toughness of BNkp polycrystals is not high K1c = 6.7 MPam1/2, compared with kiborit, which has the highest fracture toughness K1c = 13.5 MPam1/2.

The viscous effects of alternating magnetization of a sample observed during its abrasive processing in magnetic field. pp. 14--17
Summary: The phenomenological problem concerning the process of a quasi-static alternating magnetization of a cylindrical part on the latter rotating in an external permanent magnetic field is considered taking into account a time delay of an induced magnetic moment. The problem of determining a retarding moment of inelastic forces has been solved through evaluating the scale of an irreversible magnetic energy. The given effective retarding moment is shown to be of a nonmonotonic nature as a function of an imaginary magnetic permeability component.

The research of processes which occur under thermal treatment of combined high-contraction filaments. pp. 18--21
Summary: The mechanism of contraction process of combined high-contraction thread is theoretically investigated at heat treatment of the combined threads. The mathematical model describing the process of warming up combined high-contraction thread is developed. This makes possible for combined pneumotextured high-contraction thread of linear density 30--100 tex to define:
The duration of process of heat treatment for completing relaxation processes at given air temperature in the thermalchamber;
The air temperature in the thermalchamber, necessary for complete warming up a thread and achieving equilibrium value of contraction at a given temperature.
This mathematical model is checked up experimentally.

The experimental serviceability examination of the face-type Free Travel Ball Mechanism at static wedging. pp. 42--44
Summary: The obtained experimental data confirmed face-type FBTM ability to be wedged and to save the wedged state. It is established experimentally that the FBTM serviceability depends on a face clearance between half-clutches of the mechanism. It is shown that the influence of the angle of relative rotational half-clutches displacement at FBTM wedging essentially depends on the angle of wedging.

On the influence of vibration cutting cycle on roughness of machined surface. pp. 45--52
Summary: The use of asymmetric cycles of tool vibration in the process of vibration cutting makes it possible to reduce interrevolution distances between the adjacent trajectories of tool's movement along the processed surface. This contributes to a considerable decrease in roughness grade, while measurely increased amplitudes of vibration provide for clip crushing effects.

The influence of strained condition on metal deformability. pp. 53--59
Summary: The models of viscous metal destruction with plastic deformation were examined, including at cross-wedge rolling. An influence of two independent parameters of strained condition on limit of metal and alloy strain was observed. The parameters are the first invariant of strain tensor and the third invariant of strain deviator. It is shown that the limit rate of shear intensity is a function of two stress components, and that is why it represents deformability surface and the plasticity diagrams are its orthogonal profile.

Dynamic parameters of magnetic hysteresis. Part IV. Harmonic components of magnetic induction at loop vertexes (magnetic induction mode). pp. 60--65
Summary: The problem of determination of arbitrary degree of magnetic field strength harmonic component at the loop vertexes is analytically solved taking into account the surface effect of eddy currents.
The quantifative equations for the complex magnitudes of the 1-st and 2-nd harmonics of the magnetic field strength are deducted and their dependence on the depth of the sample layer are analyzed.

The analysis of regularities of dispersing capabilities of thin dipole aerials. pp. 66--72
Summary: The trends of dispersing characteristics of a thin symmetrical dipole for different kinds of load were analysed by both S-matrix methods and integration equations. Extreme modes of dispersing and the loads performing them have been defined. The recommendations on the optimizing of the distribution of frequencies and loads of nearly situated dipole aerials have been developed in order to reduce the influence of frequencies and loads on each other. Calculation results are listed.

Parametric synthesis of robust dynamic systems based on the root locus fields application. pp. 79--86
Summary: The method is considered for parametric synthesis of control systems meeting the requirements of robust quality. Root locus fields are used for locating the system roots domain within the given quality domain that ensures system D-stability and required quality characteristics bounded by the desirable values of degree of stability and oscillation. The case is considered when uncertain parameters enter affine linearly into the coefficients of the system characteristic equations.

The classification and measurement methodology of discrete objects scene dynamics. pp. 87--93
Summary: The complex changes in the scenes of discrete objects are represented as composition of elementary dynamic. The elementary of dynamics are divided into two classes. The first class is bonded with a change in the objects of the scene. The second -- with a change of the survey point (observation). The measurement procedure of the scene dynamics is proposed. It is based on the hierarchical decomposition of scene to the objects, the method of flexible describing the form of separate objects and the multicriterional comparison of the scenes.

Changes in the exposure dose rate in Belarusian forests occurring in the near and remote zones of the Chernobyl radioactive fallout. pp. 100--105
Summary: The 1988--1999 dynamics of the exposure dose rate in radioactive-contaminated forests was analyzed. It is determined that the most intense drop in the g-background occurred within the first years after the accident. In the years 1996--1999 the exposure dose rate decreased annually by 5%. Soil moistening is currently a major factor that governs the decrease in the exposure dose rate. Within the above span the level of the absorbed doses from the external g-radiation by the biota of forest ecosystems was 0.5 to 2 Gy.

The structure and chemical composition of tin oxide films has been studied by XPS, XRD and SEM methods. On the base of SnO2 thin films piezoelectric sensors was created for detection of hydrocarbon vapour of the volatile liquids. Tin oxide piezoelectric sensors were used for registration of methanol, ethanol and propanol vapours in range of concentration from 10 to 5000 ppm.

The investigation of possibility of magnetic control of spring steel 60C2 mechanical properties. pp. 112--120
Summary: It is shown, that in absence of violations of manufacturing process of quenching (at the temperature £ 800 °C) and tempering (tempering temperature ³ 600 °C) the testing of mechanical properties (hardness, strength) is possible by pulse magnetic method. The essence of the method consists in magnetization by series of magnetic field pulses which bring product to saturation in local area, following remagnetization by pulse field with less amplitude and measurement of gradient of residual local magnetization field strength. On the magnitude of gradient it is possible to determine the mechanical properties.
