On March 19, 2020, the Interagency Coordinating Council on Nutrition of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus held a regular meeting involving members of the Council, representatives of ministries and government agencies.

The meeting participants heard and discussed two reports:

1. Policy of healthy nutrition: international and national aspects (the speaker: Ekaterina Fedorenko, Deputy Director for Maintenance of Practical and Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance and Cooperation with Republican Unitary Enterprise Scientific Practical Center of Hygiene, Candidate of Medical Sciences).
2. Truth and myths about “trendy” healthy nutrition products (the speaker: Natalia Komarova, the Republican head of the laboratory test plant quality and food safety SPC NAS of Belarus for foodstuffs).
