The conference will also provide an expert assessment of overcoming the crisis in the Donbas within the framework of the Minsk peace process, as well as philosophical, theoretical and practical opportunities for the implementation of the Belarusian Helsinki-2 peace initiative. Considerable attention will be paid to the experience of detente, created by the German Chancellor Willy Brandt and a native of Belarus, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the USSR Andrei Gromyko. The event is aimed to identify ways and methods of establishing a dialogue between different geopolitical communities to achieve regional integration in Eastern Europe, as well as to define the contours of a possible new security system using the positive and negative aspects of the Helsinki process and the Belarusian Helsinki-2 peacekeeping initiative in Eastern Europe and the Eurasian continent as a whole.
