A meeting of trainees from Uzbekistan with the Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAS of Belarus Andrei Ivanets was held at the NAS of Belarus. The meeting was attended by heads of departments of sciences, organizations and structural divisions of the NAS of Belarus, and heads of internships from scientific organizations.

Internships are carried out in the framework of bilateral cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since October 24, fourteen young scientists representing leading educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been training at the scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus.

The Graduate School of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has become an internship organizer from the Belarusian side. The internship bases are as follows: the Joint Institute for Informatics Problems, the Institute of History, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, the Central Botanical Garden, V.F. Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany, the Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry, the Institute of Mathematics, the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, and Yakub Kolas Institute of Linguistics.
