Problems and prospects related to scientific personnel training are discussed at Graduate School of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

An international scientific and practical conference "Training of Scientific Personnel: Experience, Problems and Prospects" was held at the Graduate School of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on 6 December 2019.

More than 60 young scientists, graduate students and students from 10 scientific institutions and institutions of higher education from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia took part in the conference. Vladimir Shkurko, Vice-Rector for academic affairs at the Graduate School, and Dmitry Mazarchuk, Vice-Rector for scientific and methodological work at the Graduate School, addressed the participants of the conference.

The plenary session discussed issues of popularization of research and innovation among young people; involvement of young scientists in solving problems of theoretical, methodological and socio-cultural aspects of training and professional development of scientific personnel, ethical and methodological problems of modern science, the implementation of creative and scientific potential of undergraduates, graduate students and young scientists.

Viktor Raspopov, Director of the Scientific and Training Center for Applied Informatics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, PhD in Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, delivered a report on information and communications technologies for qualification scientific personnel in Ukraine

During the breakout sessions, the conference participants discussed topical issues of advanced technologies of natural sciences in education and research, as well as socio-cultural, theoretical, and methodological aspects of training and professional activity of scientific personnel in the Republic of Belarus and abroad.
