The 29th International Medical Forum Belarus Medica is taking place on April 23–26. It includes a specialized exhibition and an extensive business program. The opening ceremony was attended by Academic Secretary of the Department of Medical Sciences of the NAS of Belarus Vasily Bogdan.

At the Belarus Medica 2024 International Specialized Exhibition 17 organizations of the NAS of Belarus present over 80 developments and technologies. Thus, the Institute of Physiology of the NAS of Belarus demonstrates the latest developments in the field of medicine, including a cardioregistrator, a system for breathing a heated mixture of medical gases, a technique for cell therapy of experimental ischemia, a software pipeline for data processing. The Institute of Microbiology presents its developments in the field of biosensors and biotechnologies for the production of medicinal substances. The Pilot Production of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the NAS of Belarus presents a whole line of rapid tests, including for high-quality, fast (15 minutes) determination of IgM and IgG antibodies of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in blood, serum and plasma by immunochromatographic analysis (Rapid test SARS-CoV-2-IgM/IgG), rapid test for the determination of the nucleocapsid antigen of the SARS-CoV-2 virus by immunochromatic analysis: Rapid test SARS CoV antigen, etc. Physico-Technical Institute of the NAS of Belarus demonstrates forging of knee arthroplasty, medical implants with biocompatible protective and decorative coatings. The exhibition takes place on April 23–26 in the Football Arena (Pieramozhcaw Ave., 20/2).
