Currently, the organizational-methodological and coordinating role in the preparation of scientific personnel through the postgraduate studies in scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus conducts the Researchers Training Institute, established in 2001. As of January 1, 2008 in the postgraduate studies of NAS of Belarus trained 638 graduate students, including 444 on a full-time instruction and 194 through absentee learning. 310 researchers from NAS of Belarus and specialists of national economy prepared PhD. theses by way of the competition.
