Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Elected in 1970 on speciality Chemistry of Natural Compounds.

Structure and function of the main biopolymers and low-molecular bioregulators. Organic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, chemistry of natural compounds, steroidochemistry. Mathematical prediction of biological activity of organic compounds. Stereochemistry and conformational analysis, reseption theory, phospholipides.
