Doctor of Geological-Mineralogical Sciences (since 1990), Senior Researcher.
Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Elected in 2003 on speciality Geology.

Chairman of the Belarusian Mineralogical Society,
Member of Scientific degree defence councils,
Member of Expert council of the Belarusian Highest Certifying Committee.

Lithology, geochemistry and hydrogeochemistry of sediment rocks (interaction within the system rock-water; stable isotopes in carbonate lithogenesis).
