MALYAREVICH Alexander Mikhailovich

Alexander Mikhailovich Malyarevich (b. 20.11.1962, Minsk) - a scientist in the field of optical-electronic and laser instrumentation. Corresponding Member (2017), Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Sciences (2009), Professor (2010).

Scientific research in the field of development of new optical materials to control the radiation characteristics of solid-state lasers and the creation on their basis of optical-electronic devices and laser systems. Under his scientific guidance, a class of glass-ceramic materials for laser technology has been developed, which made it possible to create a wide range of laser systems of the near-infrared range, generating radiation pulses with a duration from a few picoseconds to tens of nanoseconds, depending on requirements. Developed unique research and training complexes for measuring a number of linear and nonlinear optical characteristics, analyzing photoelastic distortions of laser elements and optical materials.

Author of about 290 scientific and educational papers, including 1 monograph, 9 patents.
