In memory of the scientist :: DOROZHKIN Nil Nikolaevich

Nil Nikolaevich Dorozhkin (26.11.1927, Bryansk, Russia - 27.12.2007), a scientist in the field of powder materials technology, a poet. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1986), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1977), Professor (1979).

— Graduated from the Leningrad Military Mechanical Institute (1952).
— Since 1955 - Assistant of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, since 1959 - Graduate Student, Junior Researcher of the Physico-Technical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR.
— In 1963-1971 - Senior Researcher of the Central Research Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture of the Non-Black Earth Zone of the USSR (Minsk), in 1971-1991 - Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Problems of Reliability and Durability of Machines.
— Since 1991 - Main Researcher at the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Research in the field of physical and technical fundamentals of creating protective coatings, developing equipment and materials for the process of sintering them on the surfaces of machine parts.

Author of more than 600 scientific papers, incl. 22 monographs, more than 300 inventions.

Prize of the Council of Ministers of the USSR in 1984 for participation in the development and introduction of new methods and equipment for the production and restoration of machine parts by electrocontact welding of filler materials. State Prize of the Republic of Belarus in 2000 for the work "Powder protective coatings: theory, technology, practice".
