Cooperation agreements between the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Council of Young Scientists of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences were signed in Vladivostok. The document was the result of the visit of the delegation of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, headed by the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Stanislav Yuretsky, to the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Far Eastern Federal University (Vladivostok).

The main goal of the Agreement is to intensify cooperation between young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Far East in order to popularize science and scientific achievements. The document provides the holding of joint forums, conferences, symposiums, lectures, mutual consultations and the exchange of information, which is important for the development of the main areas of scientific activity of the young people. Particular attention in cooperation will be paid to the popularization of science and scientific and educational work with students and working youth in the main areas of the scientific, technical and innovative activities.

From September 12 to 18, 2022, a delegation of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, headed by the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Stanislav Yuretsky, visited the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Far Eastern Federal University (Vladivostok).

Young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus met with the leadership of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, visited a number of the large scientific organizations of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Meetings with management, young scientists, as well as round tables and exchange of views took place on the basis of such landmark organizations as: the Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, the Institute of Chemistry, the Far Eastern Geological Institute, the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East, the A.K. Chaika Federal Scientific Center for Agricultural Biotechnology of the Far East, Primorsky Oceanarium – a branch of the National Scientific Center for Marine Biology.

Also, the delegation of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus visited the Far Eastern Federal University, got acquainted with the educational and research departments of the university. Within the framework of this visit, a round table was also held on the development of bilateral youth scientific and technical cooperation.
