On September 22, 2022, the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is holding a scientific and practical seminar «Coaching Tools in Science and Education». Its goal is to acquaint the scientific community of the National Academy of Science – the PhD students, staff members – with coaching as an effective way of developing of the human creativity and intellectual potential, the realization of its capabilities, including in the scientific field. Within the thematic framework of the seminar, the concept of scientific coaching will be revealed, specific coaching methods and techniques that young scientists can use when writing a dissertation research and other scientific papers will be considered. The theme of the use of coaching in the areas of general secondary and secondary vocational education to update the creative abilities of students will be highlighted.

The seminar is of an applied nature, so the reports will provide answers to the questions that are relevant for scientists – how to overcome the limitations of the creative thinking with the help of coaching; how the use of coaching helps to identify limiting attitudes that hinder the process of writing a dissertation, project, article; how to move from words to actions with the help of coaching and overcome procrastination.

The seminar will be attended by scientists and teachers practicing coaching methods in the scientific and educational process. Venue: Minsk, Surganova street, 1, building 2, 11th floor, room 1110. Seminar starts at 14:00.
