On December 27, 2022, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a diploma of a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences was presented to Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergey Yakovlevich Kilin. The diploma was presented by the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Gennady Krasnikov. On November 15, 2019, the General Meeting of the Russian Academy of Sciences elected outstanding foreign scientists as foreign members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, including a well-known scientist of Belarus, Professor, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, scientific director of the Center of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information of the Institute of Physics named after B. I. Stepanov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician Sergey Kilin.
