Within the framework of cooperation with the regions of the Russian Federation, Igor Kopylov, Director of the Yakub Kolas Institute of Linguistics of the Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of the NAS of Belarus, and the Institute's staff took part in the events of Kostroma State University within the framework of the Week of Languages and Cultures and co-organized the round table Theoretical and Practical Lexicography. During the conference Cyril and Methodius Readings, a presentation of the joint publication "Shklyar, G.Z. Selected writings. Linguistic heritage", dedicated to a former employee of the Institute of Linguistics and Kostroma State University. A meeting of the Belarusian delegation with the rector of Kostroma State University took place, where prospects for further cooperation were discussed, including the concept of creating a Center of Belarusian Culture on the basis of the university.

Following the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of the NAS of Belarus and Kostroma State University.
