June 5–8, 2023, a delegation of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province, headed by Vice-President of Qilu Technological University, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province Liu Yongbo, is visiting the NAS of Belarus.

During the visit, the delegation was familiarized with the main activities and developments of the organizations of the NAS of Belarus at the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus Achievements of National Science for Production. During the talks with Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir G. Gusakov on June 6, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation between the organizations of the NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province, organizational issues of the establishment of the Belarusian Research Center of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province and the NAS of Belarus, and also reached an agreement on the preparation of a cooperation plan between the organizations of the Academies of Sciences. During the meeting, an agreement was signed between the Qilu Technological University and the Institute of Housing and Communal Services of the NAS of Belarus.

The delegation will also visit the State Research and Production Powder Metallurgy Association, Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the NAS of Belarus, the United Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the NAS of Belarus, the Physical-Technical Institute of the NAS of Belarus.
