On June 22, 2023, at 14:20, the first event of the cinema lecture Screen and Time entitled Voices of Burned Villages will take place at the Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of the NAS of Belarus (Surganava str., 1, building 2, room 302).

The program of the cinema lecture opens with a screening of the documentary film Chime (2021, 52 min., creative association Letopis of the National Film Studio Belarusfilm, directed by E. Setko). The picture was created by the method of remounting chronicle materials and documentaries shot at the National Film Studio Belarusfilm, and tells about the tragedy of the Belarusian villages destroyed during the Great Patriotic War.

The cinema lecture Screen and Time will be systematically held throughout the year at the site of the Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of the NAS of Belarus. The films from the cinema lecture program are included in the classic fund of Belarusian fiction, non-fiction and animated films and reflect the most important themes and stages of the development of domestic screen art.
