At the plenary session of the 10th Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, an Action Plan for the Development of Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russian Federation) for 2023–2025 was signed. The document was signed by Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov and President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan Kamil Ramazanov. A Declaration on the accession of the NAS of Belarus to the International Association Interdisciplinary Center for Neutron Research PIK was also signed. On the Belarusian side, the document was signed by Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov, on the Russian side President of the Kurchatov Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk.
During the visit of the Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus to the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the heads of the two Academies of Sciences held talks. An agreement was reached to intensify cooperation in promising areas. Vladimir Gusakov also visited the Institute of Ethnological Studies of R.G. Kuzeev of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where he got acquainted with the exposition of the Institute's museum and left a comment in the book of honored guests.
During the breakout sessions of the 10th Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus, reports were made by: Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Pyotr Kazakevich (topic of the report Unified Agrarian Policy of the Union State. Principles of Formation and Development), Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAS of Belarus Vasily Gursky (topic of the report The Role of the NAS of Belarus in the Implementation of Programs of the Union State), Director General of the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the NAS of Belarus Sergey Kruglikov (topic of the report Development of Intelligent Technologies and Systems in Belarus: Theoretical and Practical Aspects). The reports aroused the keen interest of the Forum participants.
Within the framework of the forum, the heads of scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus signed about 10 contractual documents on cooperation. Among them are the Roadmap of Cooperation between the Institute of Applied Physics of the NAS of Belarus and Novosibirsk State Technical University for 2023–2025; the Cooperation Agreement between the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the NAS of Belarus and the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Agreement on the Production of microbial drugs between the Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus and The Group of Companies Kraft (St. Petersburg), etc.
Scientists of the NAS of Belarus organizations presented a number of scientific and technical developments at the multi-industry exhibition. On June 27, 2023, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko and Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova visited the stand of the NAS of Belarus and got acquainted with the latest developments of scientists. Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry V. Volvach visited the cluster of unmanned aviation and cooperative production of unmanned aircraft systems of the Aviation Technologies and Systems Company of the NAS of Belarus.
