On June 30, 2023, the NAS of Belarus hosted a round table Economy of the Republic of Belarus: Achievements and Prospects dedicated to the Economist's Day. The event was attended by leading scientists, economists, practitioners, representatives of public administration and higher education of the country.

Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov made a welcoming speech. During the round table, the problems of economics were discussed, as well as the role of scientists and the economic school in the development of the country in modern conditions.

The round table was the final event of the Economy Week, which was held by the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus. A number of events were held during the week. Among them is a round table dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of the Institute of Economics, a round table Belarus of the Future. The results of the contest Youth for Belarusian Economy were also summed up.
