On June 28–30, 2023, a delegation of Shandong University of Science and Technology headed by Rector Zeng Qingtian visited the NAS of Belarus.

On June 28, the delegation members got acquainted with the main activities and developments of the organizations of the NAS of Belarus at the permanent exhibition Achievements of National Science for Production, and also held talks with the First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Sergey Chizhik, during which the Chinese side provided information about the Shandong University of Science and Technology, and also discussed promising areas of cooperation between the organizations of the NAS of Belarus and Shandong University of Science and Technology.

During the visit, the delegation also visited the State Scientific and Production Association of Powder Metallurgy, the Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the NAS of Belarus, the United Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the NAS of Belarus, State Research and Production Association Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology, and discussed proposals for cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering, mining and laser technologies.
