The Suzhou Entrepreneurship Week for International Talents takes place in Suzhou (China) from July 10 to July 14, 2023. On July 10, 2023, representatives of the NAS of Belarus took part in the grand opening of the event and the Day of the Scientist of Suzhou: Academic Secretary of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences of the NAS Sergey Shcherbakov, Director of the Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems named after V. Bely Andrey Grigoriev, Director of the Center of Systems Analysis and Strategic Studies Valery Goncharov, Director of the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer Alexander Uspensky and Head of the Laboratory of the Physical-Technical Institute Dmitry Karpinsky.

The Chinese side presented programs to attract foreign talented scientists and entrepreneurs to work in the region. NAS representatives discussed with Vice Mayor of Suzhou Ja Indon and Deputy Director of the Bureau of Science and Technology of Suzhou Jan Tingxiu the cooperation possibilities of NAS organizations with universities and innovative enterprises of Suzhou in a wide range of promising areas, including materials science, including materials for "post-lithium" batteries, component base of electric transport, laser and optical technologies.
