On July 12, 2023, the International Scientific and Practical Conference Potato Growing in Belarus: Achievements and Prospects started, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of scientific potato growing in Belarus. Vladimir Grakun, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Primachenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Food of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, Sergey Zhevora, Director of the A.G. Lorch Russian Potato Research Center, colleagues from the organization of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the NAS conveyed their congratulations to colleagues from the Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus on Potato and Fruit and Vegetable Growing. Scientific reports of the conference participants concerned various scientific aspects of potato breeding and cultivation. The demonstration plantings and fields of the Center were inspected.
