The delegation of the NAS of Belarus took part in the X International Forum of Technological Development Technoprom-2023, which was held from August 22 to 25 in Novosibirsk.
Members of the delegation took part in the meeting of the working group on the creation of the Bel-SI laboratory station of the Siberian Ring Photon Source Collective Use Center (SKIF) under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Pyotr Parkhomchik, as well as in the plenary session of the Kurchatov Institute Megscience as the Basis of Technological Breakthroughs and Spatial Development of the Country.
Academic Secretary of the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of the NAS of Belarus Alexander Shumilin spoke at the plenary session of the forum of the Kurchatov Institute Megascience as the Basis of Technological Breakthroughs and Spatial Development of the Country. During the Technoprom-23 forum, the creation of the Russian-Belarusian Bel-SI station within the framework of the SKIF project was discussed. It is assumed that research in the field of materials science can be carried out at the station, including for the needs of the space industry, electric transport, machine tool construction. Academic Secretary of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences of the NAS of Belarus Sergey Shcherbakov noted that a complex of studies can be carried out at the station in the interests of the economy’s real sector, in particular, in the field of machine tool construction, materials science and the space industry, an additional study of the sodium-graphene battery created by Belarusian scientists is being conducted, etc.
A number of negotiations were held at the forum. The Union State program on optoelectronics and microwave electronics was discussed with Russian colleagues, as well as the preparation and implementation of new Union programs on microelectronics, space, new materials and tools. The negotiations with the leadership of the Kurchatov Institute focused on the implementation of megasience projects and the participation of organizations of the NAS of Belarus in the synchotron research program of the Russian Federation.
Members of the delegation took part in the round table The First Meeting of the Council of Chief Designers of the Machine Tool Industry at the Exhibition Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During the visit to scientific organizations of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, promising areas for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarusian and Russian scientists were discussed. Among them are issues related to the implementation of the Roadmap projects with the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The X International Forum of Technological Development Technoprom-2023 was held from August 22 to 25 in Novosibirsk. The key theme of the anniversary forum is Technologies as a Factor of Regional Development. Technoprom's platforms worked on 11 main tracks: digital technologies and artificial intelligence, nuclear innovative technologies, new materials, energy, high-tech healthcare, aerospace technologies, agrobiotechnology and genetics, ecology and climate, instrument and machine tool construction, microelectronics, petrochemistry.
