On September 20, 2023, a meeting of the Council of Young Scientists of the International Association of the Academies of Sciences (IAAS) was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the organization’s foundation. The Deputy Head of the IAAS, Chairman of the Scientific Council for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer of the IAAS, Head of the Department of Space Activities of the Apparatus of the NAS of Belarus, Academician of the IAAS Pyotr Vityaz addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. At the meeting, ways of expanding scientific cooperation between young scientists from different countries were discussed, and the problematic issues that need to be resolved within the framework of the activities of the Council of Young Scientists of the International Association of the Academies of Sciences were also discussed.

The heads of the Councils of Young Scientists of the IAAS made scientific reports. Thus, Stanislav Yuretsky, Director of the Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Belarus, made a report On the Activities of the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Belarus within the framework of the IAAS; Gevorg Vardanyan, Chief Specialist of the Department of Applied Programs of the NAS of the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the IAAS, made a report On Work with Youth in the NAS of the Republic of Armenia and Prospects for Cooperation et al.
