Within the framework of cooperation with the regions, the Yakub Kolas Institute of Linguistics, together with the Astraviec District Executive Committee, organized and held the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference Astraviec readings 2023 on September 21, 2023.

The conference was attended by leading scientists of the NAS of Belarus, as well as teachers, local historians, correspondents of the regional newspaper of the Astraviecki district.

During the conference there was an official summing up of the online literary contest results I Dedicate the Lines to Astraviec, dedicated to the 555th anniversary of Astraviec, and awarding the winners. Diplomas of the Department of Humanities and Arts were awarded to representatives of the Astraviecki district, who made a significant contribution to the preservation and popularization of the region’s historical and cultural heritage.
