On October 30, 2023, a press conference was held at the National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus on the topic: Large Predators in Belarus and Ways to Resolve Conflict Situations with Them. On behalf of the NAS of Belarus, Pavel Geshtovt, Deputy Director General of the Scientific and Practical Center on Bioresources, and Pavel Veligurov, senior researcher at the Laboratory of Population Ecology of Terrestrial Vertebrates and Bioresources Management of the Scientific and Practical Center on Bioresources, took part in the press conference. NAS scientists told about monitoring the number of large predators in Belarus, about the rules of behavior in the forest and when meeting wild animals, answered numerous questions from journalists.
