The University of the NAS of Belarus has joined the China-Belarus Association of Universities. Rector of the University of the NAS of Belarus Marat Zhilinsky took part in the Forum of Rectors of Institutions of Higher Education of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China. The forum was held on November 21, 2023 on the basis of the National Library. The plenary session of the forum was attended by First Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Bakhanovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyun, as well as heads of leading universities of Belarus. During the plenary and breakout sessions, the participants exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of personnel training

In addition, an agreement was signed on the establishment of the China-Belarus Association of Universities. The association includes more than 80 universities of Belarus and China. According to the forum participants, the creation of the association will contribute to the promotion of inter-university exchange, including joint seminars, training of highly qualified professional and interdisciplinary specialists, conducting scientific research.
