On November 26–29, a delegation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan visiting the NAS of Belarus

On November 27, 2023, the leadership of the NAS of Belarus held talks with a delegation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan headed by President Kamil Ramazanov. The current state of cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and scientific organizations of Bashkortostan, the implementation of the Action Plan for the Development of Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2023–2025, as well as promising areas for the development of cooperation were discussed.

As Vladimir Gusakov noted during the meeting, the NAS of Belarus attaches special importance to the development of cooperation with Bashkortostan. "Today we are actively cooperating with a number of scientific centers of the Russian Federation. We have established fruitful, productive relations with your republic in many areas, especially in the field of petrochemistry. We are focused on practical results, our goal is applied research. And in the near future we must identify new priority areas and specific projects of scientific and technical cooperation that will be most effective and mutually beneficial for Belarus and Bashkortostan," Vladimir Gusakov stressed. During the meeting, it was noted that on the sidelines of the 10th Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia on June 26–28, 2023 in Ufa, an Action Plan for the development of scientific and technical cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2023–2025 was signed. A Roadmap of scientific and technical cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2023–2025 has been developed, which involves cooperation in such areas as chemical technologies and new materials, physics and mathematics, technics, etc.

In turn, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan Kamil Ramazanov noted that scientists of the Republic fruitfully work with scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus. The Academies of Sciences of Belarus and Bashkortostan have worked out a Roadmap of cooperation with the maximum level of elaboration, which will allow to give results in the near future. But cooperation requires expansion in all areas of mutual interest. In particular, Bashkortostan today is interested in developing cooperation with Belarus in the field of agricultural sciences, grain breeding, bioscience and humanities.

On November 26–29, a delegation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan is visiting the NAS of Belarus. The guests visited the permanent exhibition Achievements of Domestic Science for Production. During the visit, the members of the delegation will get acquainted with the activities and latest developments of scientists from a number of scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus: the Physico-Technical Institute of the NAS of Belarus, the Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the NAS of Belarus, the Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry of the NAS of Belarus, the Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus for Materials Science, the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov of the NAS of Belarus, Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus on Food, the Institute of Plant Protection, the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, the Institute of History of NAS of Belarus, Centre for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of NAS of Belarus.
