Kurtyonok "Musical Culture of Gomel of the Late XVIII – Early XXI Centuries" will take place within the framework of the conference. It is symbolic that the book was published in the year of the 95th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Belarusian musicologist Galina G. Kuleshova, whose 95th anniversary is also celebrated in 2023. The publication explores the musical culture of Gomel in all spheres of its manifestation – musical education, composing, concert practice, art criticism and educational activities, as well as at all stages of its historical development. For the first time, the musical society of Gomel is considered as an integral multidimensional phenomenon, an integral part of the national musical culture, forming a context for the Russian and Western European artistic heritage. It is addressed to professional musicians and music lovers.
