Large group of scientists of the NAS of Belarus awarded high prizes in honor of the Belarusian Science Day

At the official meeting of the scientific community of the country, which took place on January 26, 2024 at the National Library of Belarus, high awards were presented by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the SCST, the NAS of Belarus and the Higher Attestation Commission.

At the exhibition dedicated to the Belarusian Science Day, 30 organizations of the NAS of Belarus presented more than 100 scientific and technical developments. An interesting addition to the exhibition were joint Belarusian-Chinese developments, which were demonstrated by academic institutions within the framework of international cooperation, among them the Physico-Technical Institute of the NAS of Belarus, the Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus, State Scientific and Production Association Chemical Synthesis and Biotechnology, Pilot Production of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and others. The exhibition was attended by representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province (PRC) and the Academy of Sciences of Guangdong Province (PRC), who also presented a number of their developments at the exhibition.

On January 29, 2024, an official ceremony was held to award the laureates of a number of academic competitions based on the results of 2023.

Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov presented a diploma and a medal to the winner of the Scientist of the Year of the NAS of Belarus 2023 competition, Academic Secretary of the Department of Agrarian Sciences of the NAS of Belarus, Doctor of Technical Science, Associate Professor, Corresponding Member Azarenko Vladimir Vitalievich.

The diplomas of the laureates were awarded to the laureates of the Top 10 of the activities results competition among scientists of the NAS of Belarus in the field of fundamental and applied research, as well as to the laureates of the Academician Valentin Koptyug Prize.

The diplomas of the laureates were also awarded to the winners of the competition for the best presentation of scientific achievements in 2023 in the media. These are representatives of the country's leading mass media.
