The competition is held in accordance with the Regulation on the Republican Board of Honor, approved by Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 573 of September 30, 1999 (as amended by Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 47 of February 12, 2019).

The number of places on the Republican Board of Honor for scientific organizations is 4. Of these, 3 places are distributed among scientific organizations of natural science and technical profile and 1 place among scientific organizations of public and humanities profile.

The requirements for the participants of the competition are set out in paragraph 5 and subparagraph 12.2. of paragraph 12 of the Regulation on the Republican Board of Honor, approved by the above-mentioned Edict, as well as in the Instruction on the procedure for determining applicants for entry on the Republican Board of Honor, approved by Resolution of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus No. 8/9 of December 4, 2019 (as amended by the Resolution of the NAS of Belarus and the SCST No. 2/1 of 01/18/2024).

Scientific organizations participating in the competition submit an application in paper and in electronic form (see the application form here) and information on the results of activities and achievements for 2023 (see the form here) to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (220072, Minsk, Nezaliezhnasci Ave., 66, room 406, 317) no later than February 20, 2024.
