The event, organized by the primary trade union organization of the Apparatus of the NAS of Belarus, was attended by representatives of scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus, structural divisions of the Apparatus, young scientists.

Grigory Alekseyevich Vasilevich, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Belarus, Head of the Constitutional Law Department of the Belarusian State University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honoured Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus, made a report to the scientific community. He spoke about the history of the Constitution, the structure and the main sections of the basic Law of the country. Grigory Alekseyevich stressed that the basic Law of the republic is 30 years old, and Belarusians celebrate Constitution Day for the 25th time.

The report was made on Family as a Constitutional and Legal Category by Yulia Vasilyevna Kochurko, Head of the Directorate of Scientific and Organizational and Legal Work of the Apparatus of the NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor. In her report, she cited, among other things, the results of research by scientists from the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus, told about the assistance and benefits that the state provides today to families with children.

Academician of the NAS of Belarus Pyotr Vityaz addressed the youth with parting words.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Belarus, celebrations and dialogue platforms are being held throughout the country. Their main goal is to convey to young people the fundamental nature of the country's Basic Law.
