On March 19, 2024, Anatoly Lazarevich, Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus, and Zhang Yi, Director of the National Institute of Social Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, signed a cooperation agreement that continued the interacademic contacts between the institutes established in 2018. The parties highlighted the main areas of cooperation, including joint scientific and publishing projects, organization of conferences and round tables, training of scientific personnel, as well as comprehensive promotion of the Belarus-China scientific dialogue.

The event took place as part of the visit of the Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus to the National Institute of Social Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences to participate in the international scientific forum Democracy: Common Values for All Mankind organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
