On April 23, a delegation of participants of the International Youth Forum on Unmanned Vehicles visited the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Among them are representatives of Russian universities that train specialists for aviation needs. First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Sergey Chizhik and academic secretary of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences Sergey Shcherbakov introduced colleagues to the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus Achievements of National Science for Production, where they stressed that the production of modern drones needs the development of new materials, control systems, and developments in the IT sector.

The idea of the need for an integrated approach to the development of this topic was also discussed during the meeting of the delegation with Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov and Deputy Secretary of State of the Union State Alexey Kubrin.

They also talked about cooperation between the developers of drones from Belarus and Russia, including the possibility of reaching the level of projects of the Union State. To do this, it is necessary to formulate their tasks and the planned result very clearly, and identify government customers. Further discussion of these and other issues continued during a visit to the R&D Center for Multifunctional Unmanned Complexes of the NAS of Belarus and other aviation enterprises of our country.
