The delegation of the NAS of Belarus participates in the “Zhongguancong 2024. Innovations for a Better World” International Forum, which takes place on April 24–29 at the Zhongguancong Science and Technology Park, the largest in China. The delegation of the NAS of Belarus to the event included V. V. Podkopaev, Head of the Main Directorate of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation, Y. A. Leonovets, General Director of Aviation Technologies and Systems Company, and A. A. Uspensky, Head of the Department of the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer of the Center of Systems Analysis and Strategic Studies of the NAS of Belarus. On April 24, the grand opening of the forum took place, at which Vice Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Liu Jixiang made a speech.

On the sidelines of the Forum, which gathered more than 2 thousand participants, the Belarusian delegation held talks with representatives of the leadership of the Northwestern Polytechnic University of the People's Republic of China, with whom in 2023 the NAS of Belarus signed a cooperation agreement, with representatives of the management of the CAMCE company, which is part of one of the largest Chinese engineering concerns SINOMACH and is a resident of the Zhongguancong Technopark, with the management of the Bojan Company, created by the Chinese Academy of Sciences for the commercialization of scientific developments, and the management of AVIC INTL, part of the Chinese aircraft corporation AVIC. All these organizations are already partners of the NAS of Belarus, and further steps to develop mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed at the meetings.
