Dear colleagues!

On behalf of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the Labor Day!

The history of this holiday’s formation is rich in events. Nowadays, it has become a symbol of unity and social justice, a call for solidarity in the name of the prosperity of our Motherland and the happiness of every citizen of it.

This year, May 1 is getting a special sound. After all, conscientious work, the formation of a sense of personal responsibility for the result of work, the desire to achieve high results are the key directions of the Year of Quality announced by the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko.

The Academy of Sciences has made and is making a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the country. Belarusian researchers are successfully working on a number of important priorities. With the help of the latest scientific achievements, Belarus provides solutions to large-scale tasks. This Year encourages us to strive for excellence in all aspects of our activity in order to achieve the highest quality standards.

May 1 is the time to recognize the successes of labor collectives and their employees. It is symbolic that on the eve of the day, Honours Boards are traditionally opened throughout the country, where only the best teams and employees are entered. It is also a good tradition at the Academy of Sciences.

On this day, I would like to thank all the employees of the NAS of Belarus for their daily conscientious work and constant striving for development. May May Day be a time for inspiration, motivation and new opportunities for each of us. May spring bring energy and joy, give strength for new achievements!

I wish you peace, good health, well-being in every home, and good mood. May optimism and hope for the best never leave you!
