Publishing House "Belaruskaya Navuka" to present first volume of five-volume book about Belarusian statehood history

01.02.2019 On 7 February 2019, at 4:30 pm, the Publishing House "Belaruskaya Navuka" is to present the first volume of the five-volume book "Belarusian Statehood History” on the central site of the National Stand of Belarus during the 26th Minsk Book Fair.

The publication was prepared according to the State program of scientific research "Economy and humanitarian development of the Belarusian society" for 2016-2020.

The first volume "Belarusian Statehood: From the Origins to the End of the 18th Century" covers the origins and features of the Belarusian statehood from antiquity to the end of the 18th century. The authors analyzed and characterized the first historical forms of Belarusian statehood: Principality of Polotsk, Principality of Turov, Kievan Rus, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

The collective monograph is designed for professional historians, teachers of higher education institutions and secondary schools, students. It is recommended for use in research work and educational process.
