The Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the NAS of Belarus presented an anthropomorphic robot for the first time. The purpose of this research and educational project of scientists is to study the possibilities of integrating anthropomorphic robots into the service sector and other spheres of human activity. Among the innovative developments, which are presented by scientists from the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of the NAS of Belarus, is a micromodule installed onboard small space satellites or unmanned aerial vehicles. It is intended for preliminary recognition and selection of images of underlying surfaces of specified types. The NASB Joint Institute of Informatics Problems will also present a system of remote monitoring of the state of agricultural crops, developed jointly with the specialists of the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Aagriculture (Zhodino) to increase the efficiency of decision-making on the planning and regulation of agricultural activities. The system makes it possible to increase the profitability of crop production by adapting the technologies of cultivation and harvesting of crops to the actual conditions according to the results of operational remote monitoring.
The Scientific Production Center for Multifunctional Unmanned Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus demonstrates a portable ground control station. This development, consisting of two automated workstations located in the container, is designed for remote control of unmanned aerial vehicles, receiving and displaying video, thermal and telemetric information transmitted from the UAV.
