Energy, bio-, nano- and medical technologies will be priorities of Belarusian science within the following five years. Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of Presidium, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, reported that to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA has informed.
The report focused on 13 priority areas of science for the following five-year period. Based on these priorities a catalog of the main research programs has been developed. Currently they are being complemented with certain tasks and projects. Alexander Lukashenko was also reported about the sources of funding the proposed research and the future sales markets. Head of state also said he would like to meet with Belarusian scientists who represent not only NAS of Belarus but also universities and industrial science in order to review what has been achieved and discuss the plans.
