In the field of Technical Sciences Leonard L. Vasilyev and Aleksandr S. Zhuravlev were awarded for the series of works "The Innovative Systems of Thermal Transformation for Utilization of Secondary and Alternative Sources of Energy" (Belarus – Ukraine).
In the field of Natural Sciences Mikhail A. Khodasevich, Georgy V. Sinitsyn and Marina V. Rogovaya were awarded for the series of works "Classification and Identification of Wine Distillers by Methods of Multiparameter Analysis of Their Spectral Characteristics" (Belarus – Moldova).
According to the Regulation, the prizes of the Academies of Sciences of Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine for outstanding scientific results obtained in joint researches have been awarded since 1995. The contest is held every two years on the results of the competitive selection by a joint decision of the Academies of Sciences of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.
Winners are alternately defined by the Presidiums of the Academies of Sciences of the three countries. In 2015 the right to sum up was granted to the Republic of Moldova.
