First International Grain Forum to be held at Scientific and Practical Center of NASB for Arable Farming

On May 4, 2016 (Wednesday) at 9.00 am the opening of the First International Grain Forum with the participation of EU representatives, scientific and industrial organizations of the Republic of Belarus will take place at the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus for Arable Farming" (Zhodino, Timiryazev str., 1).

The two-day forum will be held on the basis of RUE "Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus for Arable Farming" under the auspices of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. The event will be attended by more than 100 domestic and foreign experts in the field of breeding, seed production and processing of grain, the release of bread and bakery products.

The main goal of the forum is to discuss topical issues of grain production, its quality indicators, acceptance control at bakery plants, innovative solutions in the field of determining the quality of grain and flour. The leading bread baking technology presented by German and French companies will be discussed.

The forum participants will get acquainted with the latest equipment and analytical capabilities of the Laboratory of biochemical analysis and product quality of RUE "Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus for Arable Farming ", will take part in practical workshops sessions: "Modernization and construction of mills, feed mills and extrusion lines"; "Process automation of grain sampling"; "Trial laboratory baking as a basic technique for the evaluation of the flour baking properties"; "The influence of enzymes (protein origin substances) on the quality of the flour, the dough structure and appearance of products"; "Types of biochemical, genetic and technological analyzes of grains, seeds, plants and soil".
