The purpose of the round table is to discuss the spiritual, ideological and political legacy of the founder of the modern Iranian state, Ayatollah Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini (1902-1989), his role in formation of modern practice of intercultural and inter-civilizational relations. The discussion will cover issues of the development of modern Belarusian-Iranian cooperation; study the rich heritage of Iranian literature and culture in the Republic of Belarus.
The conference will be attended by historians, philosophers, political scientists, public figures and journalists. The organizers of the "round table" are the Institute of History of the NAS of Belarus and the cultural office of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Belarus.
