Belarusian scientists invited to debate on cultural heritage

On February 20-21, 2017 a Funded Research Projects Parade workshop will be organized by the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage with the support of the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIKIRPA) - Parc du Cinquantenaire 1 B-1000. The event will be held in Brussels. It is organized in order to put into perspective and present results of projects granted through the two joint calls. The Parade is intended to give a fresh impetus to research applied to Cultural Heritage, by exploiting and foreseeing impact of most recent research results under the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage.

This Parade will thereby be supported by an interactive moment given by the “LABs”, focusing on four thematic areas:
• New technologies for conservation and protection of cultural heritage
• Living traditions for bottom up local development
• New models for cultural heritage management
• Re-thinking urban spaces and landscape as cultural heritage assets

The event will also offer the opportunity to set new institutional relationships and strengthen the existing ones, in view of future collaborations.

On February 20, 2017: Opening Session and Cluster Labs Projects. On February 21, 2017: workshop presenting research results and impacts.

The programme of the event is available.
